Creating a brand for myself was a difficult but exciting challenge. My designs are often simplistic and easy to understand, so my logo needed to portray these characteristics. The final design is clean, lively, and slightly abstract.
Bloombox
The mark for BloomBox captures the main aspects of the company: plants and delivery. All of the strokes are one weight and have rounded caps to maintain a fun and tranquil look. All of the lines that form the flower are connected to show a harmonious and complete form. The flower is placed into a three-sided structure to represent the delivery where the plant becomes easily accessible.
traveling paws
The Traveling Paws logo incorporates a simple sans serif font followed by a styled font that gives a hint to the playfulness of the brand. The outlined stroke of the paw print is a design style that is carried out in other assets of the Traveling Paws brand. The paw print lets the consumer know that this is a product for dogs and the leaf hints that this is a healthy product.
TEDx ohio state university
TEDxOhioStateUniversity holds an event every Spring with a new theme. This year’s theme, Fuse, can be described as fusing people, communities, and ideas worth spreading. I designed this logo to appear as pieces coming together to form the word FUSE. The logo hints at movement, referring to spreading ideas.
Building people through movement
I designed a mark for Building People through Movement (BPM), an organization in Columbus that raises money for underprivileged youth athletic programs through concerts and music related events. The design combines a heart beat line transforming into a sound wave, creating a connection between humans and music.
